Annual Awards Finalists
The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce recognizes small and large businesses of the year in Salem and Roanoke County at our Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast. These businesses demonstrate an interest and involvement with the general community through support of area not-for-profits, community causes, business development activities and/or volunteering. They are in alignment with Chamber values by actively supporting the advancement of business in the community as well as active participation in the Chamber.
In addition, the Chamber recognizes a Citizen of the Year. This award goes to an individual, group of people or an entity. The recipient will have demonstrated interest and involvement in the regional community through support of area not-for-profits, community causes, business development activities and/or volunteering. The Citizen of the Year is someone or a group that has developed creative ways to help solve a community challenge. Chamber membership is not required to be eligible.
We have been accepting nominations for these awards through the month of September, and now the Final nominations have been sent to you, our membership, for final voting. Please submit your vote by 11/15/2020 and forward this to your employees to vote. Winners will be announced during our Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast on January 28th, 2021.
