The Gingerbread Festival is an annual holiday favorite. This family-friendly event features a Gingerbread House Competition, holiday vendors, smore’s treats, gingerbread cookie decorating, and entertainment. And don’t forget, visits with Santa! Over 1,500 community members attended in 2019.

Join us Saturday, December 5th, 10 am – 2 pm, at the Salem Public Library, Main Street in Salem.  Commercial vendors (non artists/crafters) may apply to participate using this form. 

Gingerbread Artists and Crafter Form

Please use this form if you are an artist/crafter vendor.
Please include links to your website or social media pages.
Each Vendor will receive a 10' x 10' space. We will do our best to provide electricity if needed. Vendors are responsible to bring tent, table, and chairs. Approximately ten days prior to the event, you will be emailed set-up instructions.
This fee is in addition to the vendor fee.
If you have less than 5 employees in the Roanoke Valley, you can become a chamber member for only $185 annual fee. You'll save $50 today and receive: Member rate to participate in future events such as Gingerbread Festival in December and a complimentary booth in our Annual Showcase in January 2021. Chamber members enjoy the benefit of networking, marketing and volunteer opportunities in addition to other benefits.

Payment Information

We'll email a confirmation and invoice to the address listed above within 72 hours. Direct sales and chain businesses will be limited to 1 booth per brand name and should be paid promptly to secure your spot. All others, payment is due by August 15th. You may pay by clicking on the Registration button from the chamber event calendar.


By typing your name above, you are agreeing to: Payment of your invoice by November 1, 2021. No cancellations, refunds or selling of spaces. If you are unable to attend and wish to sell your space, the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber must approve any replacement vendor. You also agree that this is a Rain or Shine Event and no refunds will be given, unless due to COVID-19 cancellation by the Chamber of commerce.
